Do you have burst or split pipes?

You don’t know the cause

You need to go through the process of elimination to determine the cause

Are your pipes bursting from over pressure?

This problem can be common with positive displacement pumps such as helical rotor & Piston pumps

If either of these pumping systems rely on a pressure switch to stop them possible damage to the pipeline or pump can occur if the switch fails to stop the pump

Some types of water may have Iron or calcium build up which will stop the switch from working

If it is a pressure problem we have the answer

A relatively cheap fix to the problem is to fit a pressure relief valve to the pump discharge and adjust the relief valve to open just above the cut out pressure

There are many types and sizes so the correct valve must be installed to suit the pressure & flow rate

This is a typical example of a Pressure relief valve

Is the pressure rating of your pipe incorrect
