SubDrives – Surge Protection now installed
We are now installing a surge protection unit into all SubDrive 75, 150 and 300 enclosures.
This is a cartridge style surge and lightning arrestor (nothing is guaranteed, we are trying to minimise surge damage and related circuit board and Drive failure)
The cartridges are replaceable and we are supplying 2 spare cartridges in each enclosure. This way the site operator can change over the cartridges and they are back up and running fast.
In addition, we have a Retrofit Surge Kit to upgrade any existing in field units if required.
