Late at night, when you are alone, do you dream of drip lines that won’t clog?
We do.
And yes, we’ve got to get out more, but in the meantime, we made a ripper of a drip line with the D5000.
Since the creation of D5000 Rivulis has continued to listen to customer feedback to ensure we are able to deliver a quality product year after year! As a result, we feel it is time to ensure all customers know just what the D5000 can offer:
- Silicon Diaphragm – The D5000 dripper has a silicon diaphragm…..NO RUBBER!!!
- 40 independent inlet filters in each dripper – Yes you read correctly, there are 40 inlets, each providing protection to the dripper and plenty of redundancy.
- Extra wide flow labyrinth – To prevent clogging we have made the D5000 labyrinth extra wide whilst still burning off the same amount of pressure as traditional labyrinths.
- Long outlet pool – Dirt ingestion is a risk so we developed a long outlet pool giving the maximum amount of distance between the emitter and the tube hole.
- Top notch performance – Pressure compensating is a great feature, but it is only as good as the pressure range it can regulate at. The D5000 dripper can regulate between 50 kPa and 350 kPa.
-
A drip line designed to resist clogging that comes with pressure compensating as standard.
Brilliant Clogging Resistance
40 independent inlet filters in each dripper
Yes, you read correct. In each dripper, there are 40 inlets, each providing protection to the dripper and plenty of redundancy.
Extra wide flow labyrinth
This is the part of the dripper that ‘burns’ off the pressure, so you have a dripper instead of a spray! However, it is also the section of the dripper at greatest risk of clogging. We’re onto it. In D5000 we made an extra wide labyrinth that still burns off the same amount of pressure as traditional labyrinths.
Long outlet pool
Dirt ingestion is a risk. The long outlet pool gives the maximum distance between the emitter outlet and the tube hole. It also allows for a slit outlet in 0.38 mm (15 mil) wall thickness D5000 configurations, making it great for sub-surface.
Top notch performance
Pressure compensating is a great feature, but it is only as good as the pressure range it can regulate at. Some drippers can only pressure regulate if the water pressure is between 40 and 250 kPa (giving a range of 210 kPa). The D5000 dripper can regulate between 50 kPa and 350 kPa
(a whopping 300 kPa range).“Hold on,” you might be asking. “I don’t run my system at 50 or 350 kPa.” Yes that may be true at the start of laterals, but what about your pressure at the bottom of a slope where there is greater pressure, or situations where you want to run even longer run lengths? With D5000 you have the flexibility.
