Description
Diaphragm Float Valves operate using both a diaphragm valve and pilot float valve.
The pilot float valve (5) is installed in the tank, trough or reservoir and regulates the diaphragm valve
via a nylon or copper tube (i.e. ¼” ) through the control chamber (2) above diaphragm.
The location of the pilot float valve assembly and the position of the float (4), (3) determine the level
setting in the tank or reservoir.
The control valve (1) is adjusted to regulate the diaphragm opening & closing speed.
The assembly is usually installed with a ball valve (6) for manual closing.
