Details on the field layout with a Rainspan Soft Hose Boom Irrigator

 Field layout for the irrigator will depend on boom width and field dimensions as shown by the example given below;
 Lanes are recommended to be kept straight level grassed mowed and free from trash;
 Width of run is at least 1m wider than machine width (see specifications);
 Hydrants are located halfway and to the side of each run (Take half the width of the machine shown in specifications for model and add 1.5m);
 Each dealer will determine how much over laps is needed to suit the crop requirements, field arrangement and wind conditions in their particular area. A standard 2m overlap is recommended.
