The Pump Rod Coupling should be a high quality component that will not fail in service. Too often the view is that “any old coupling will do”. This is dangerous thinking as the annoyance caused when a coupling fails is greater than anything else in the entire windmill system.

These couplings are used to join the Pump Rods, or to join the Pump Rod to the Pump. They are used inside steel column to minimise the wear (rubbing) inside the pipe.
Couplings are made from Hexangonal DR (dezincification resistant) Brass.
They are available as female/female couplings with Whitworth threads, in sizes 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, & 3/4″, 1/2″ x 5/8″, 1/2″ x 3/4″, 5/8″ x 3/4″, 3/4″ x 1″.
Galvanised Steel Pump Rod Couplings
These couplings are used to join the Pump Rods, or to join the Pump Rod to the Pump.
They are used inside steel column for deeper depths where extra strength is required.
These couplings will maintain their tolerances even after being screwed and unscrewed many times.
Couplings are made from solid hexangonal bar.
They are available as female/female couplings with Whitworth threads, in sizes 3/8″, 1/2″, 5/8″, & 3/4″, 1/2″ x 5/8″, 1/2″ x 3/4″, 5/8″ x 3/4″, 3/4″ x 1″
